BEIJING, Aug. 19 (Xinhua) — Since the COVID-19 outbreak, China has not only taken all-out efforts to treat COVID-19 patients and save lives, but also actively assisted countries around the world in fighting the pandemic.
China sent medical expert teams and shared anti-epidemic information with various countries as well as international and regional organizations.
In the face of such a pandemic, a great number of medical workers have raced against time and fought tenaciously against the virus on the frontlines. They have demonstrated the noble spirit of giving priority to saving lives with total devotion and ultimate love.
China set Aug. 19 as its Medical Workers' day to call for respect from society for the country's medical and health workers. To mark the 3rd Medical Workers' Day, let's say "Thank You" to all medical heroes.
